Freeze Chopped Parsley and Cilantro

I tend to buy large quantities of fresh parsley. To keep it fresh I freeze it in a plastic bag after I wash it and remove the stems and the wilted leaves. Before freezing it, it's good to dry the parsley by placing it on a towel. If the parsley is too wet when you freeze it the chopping won't work too well because you'll have too much ice in the mix.

To chop the frozen parsley simply hit the bag full of parsley and the frozen parsley will simply break up into small pieces. That's it!

It works just as well with cilantro but some people consider that cilantro loses its aroma on freezing.

Enjoy.
