Twitter as a News Filter - Update

In my June 7, 2009 essay Twitter as a News Filter I suggested that Twitter might be put to good use selectively filtering the news. Over the past three weeks this idea has borne good fruit for me.

@darria and @nbocaranda have kept me up on the developing Honduras situation
@RayLevesque has provided some interesting links including one the new "Omama Man" National Anthem

There are too many others to mention, but yes, Twitter is working out just great as a news filter.
